Anthony Hayward is the founder of Poole Poetry Group. He first began writing poetry 15 years ago, many of his works have been published in various Anthologies / Magazines in the UK and USA. He has appeared on TV, Radio and in the national & local press. His first collection of poetry 'Reveille of Rhyme' was published in 2007 and he is currently working on his second collection 'Spoken Through a Quill'.

Mary Paterson is Co-founder of Poole Poetry Group. She has been writing for 3 years, initially as a way of expressing difficult emotions.
Today she writes about her reflections on everyday life, her Christian faith and children's verse - sometimes with humour, sometimes with passion!
Mary runs regular 'Open Mic' evenings which are great fun and thus encouraging anyone of any age to express their creativity…not only through poetry.
Mary also enjoys using her poetry to speak about her faith to any groups who may be interested whether Christian, other faiths or secular. (Please contact through PPG website)
